Symantec Released Norton Small Business, Offers Money-back Guarantee

Symantec, the market leaders in the domain of developing antivirus solutions and providing protection to users from internet attacks, released Norton Small Business on May 20. With the product’s release, the company also offered a money-back guarantee for malware removal.

Norton Small Business is a powerful suite of Norton software, which is developed for companies having fewer than 20 employees. Symantec is selling the suit on subscription basis. A small business can opt to choose to buy a $99 subscription of the suite which supports five devices, or they can opt for $199 subscription with ten devices support, or $399 subscription with 20 devices support. The money back guarantee which Symantec has offered is only related to malware removal. It applies to users who suspect the presence of malware on their device. According to Symantec if a Norton agent fails in removing the malware, then the company will reimburse the customer for the cost of product on pro-rated basis.

Along with the Norton antivirus software for Windows and Mac, the Norton Small Business suite contains vulnerability protection for IE and Mozilla Firefox browsers, anti-spam software MS Outlook and Outlook Express, and others.

The suite also includes mobile protection for Android devices, which protects Android devices against malware from downloading and/or infecting the device.
